Police are appealing for information about a car sale scam on the South Coast.
In May 2025, officers attached to South Coast Police District commenced an investigation following reports of an online scam in Far Meadow, near Nowra
Police were told an Audi model RS6 was listed for sale online, before being sold to an unknown man a few days later for $195,000.
Police were also informed, following the purchase and collection of the vehicle, the transaction was later reversed.
Following extensive inquiries, police have released images of the man they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 180cm tall, of muscular build, short black hair and a full black beard.
The vehicle is described as being a grey 2021 Audi model RS6.
