Police Hunt Stolen Vehicles in Alice Springs 10 September

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to two vehicles that were stolen in Alice Springs overnight.

Around 4:30am this morning, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre (JESCC) received a report of two suspicious vehicles driving in Kilgariff.

Police attended and sighted both vehicles, which were confirmed as having been stolen earlier in the evening, parked on a side street. As police approached, a number of unknown youths fled on foot, while some fled the scene in one of the vehicles, a silver Hyundai Hatchback.

A 13-year-old male was arrested after a short foot pursuit and remains in police custody.

The Hyundai remains outstanding, and investigations are ongoing.
