Police Hunt Stolen Vehicles in Alice Springs 4 September

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to two vehicles that were stolen from a residence in Alice Springs this morning.

At 3am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre (JESCC) received a report of an unlawful entry at a residence on Barclay Court in Gillen.

The unknown offenders allegedly stole two Nissan Nivaras from the residence, ramming through the property gates to flee the scene.

Police responded and tracked the two vehicles driving through Alice Springs. At 4:30am, tyre deflation devices were successfully deployed on the stolen vehicles as they were travelling north through The Gap.

Both were subsequently abandoned nearby on Bradshaw Drive and Flynn Drive in Gillen. The vehicles have been seized to undergo forensic investigation.
