An investigation is underway after shots were fired in Sydney's south-west.
About 10.15pm (Wednesday 22 May 2019), Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were called to a house on David Street, near Anderson Avenue, Mount Pritchard, following reports gunshots were heard.
Police arrived to find spent casings in the driveway of the home.
A woman and baby were in the house at the time but were uninjured.
The male occupant who was not home when police first arrived has since returned to the house and is assisting with inquiries.
A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers.
