At approximately 5:30am on Sunday 15 August, Tasmania Police were called to a residence in Karoola in relation to a disturbance. Police spoke to the occupants of the residence who advised that two people had entered the residence approximately 30 minutes earlier and had taken property and assaulted two of the occupants within the residence prior to leaving with the address.
It is believed the offenders arrived and left the address in a twin cab utility. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a twin cab utility in the Karoola area at the time or if they witnessed any suspicious activity in the Karoola area.
Launceston CIB is investigating the incident.
