Police investigate antique store break-in at Junee

An investigation is underway following a break and enter in Junee at the weekend.

Just after 5am on Saturday (5 June 2021), a man forced entry to an antique store on Lorne Street.

Once inside, police have been told several pieces of antique jewellery and an 1868 Derringer pistol were stolen.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone who may have information or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to contact Wagga Wagga Police on 6922 2599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
