Police investigate armed robbery at Beaudesert

Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred in Beaudesert this evening.

At about 7.40pm, a man and a woman entered a grocery store on Oakland Way and threatened a staff member with a metal pole.

The woman removed a quantity of cash and cigarettes from the counter area prior to the pair fleeing the scene.

No persons were injured during the incident.

Any members of the public who witnessed or have information in relation to the incident are asked to contact police.
