Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Beenleigh

Police are appealing for information as part of ongoing investigations into the armed robbery of a Beenleigh service station in the early hours of this morning, 14 October.

Around 1.20am, officers were called to a service station on Logan River Road following a report that a man had been robbed.

Investigations indicate that just before 1am, three people attended the service station in a stolen black 2025 Chery Tiggo.

The Tiggo had been reported stolen during a burglary on Sovereign Street at Flagstone on 12 October.

Two of the males exited the vehicle, while one remained in the driver's seat.

The pair entered the store, one armed with what appeared to be a firearm and the other a sword, and confronted the 18-year-old male employee who fled through the rear of the business.

The pair then stole the till containing money, and personal items belonging to the employee, before the trio fled in the Tiggo.

Police attended the service station and a crime-scene was declared.

The 18-year-old man was not physically injured in the incident.

Around 1.30am, police were called to the corner of Curtisii Court and Third Avenue at Kingston in relation to a vehicle fire.

Investigations continue to confirm it is the Tiggo.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who has information or vision around those areas this morning to come forward.
