Police investigate armed robbery at Campbelltown

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Sydney's south-west overnight.

About 9.20pm (Friday 28 June 2019), an unknown man entered a petrol station on Lindesay Street, Campbelltown, approached the front counter, and produced a firearm.

He demanded money from the employee, before fleeing the scene on foot with cash.

The employee was uninjured.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black balaclava, a black/grey hooded jumper, dark blue pants and grey shoes.
