Police investigate armed robbery at Carrara

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pharmacy at Carrara just after midday today.

Around 12.30pm, a man armed with a knife and wearing a surgical mask entered the Paddington Drive premises and stole a quantity of prescription drugs, placing them in a bag he was carrying before fleeing the scene.

The man is described as Caucasian with brown short hair, a thin build and was dressed in an orange and black florescent work style shirt with black long pants and grey sport shoes.

No one was injured in the incident.
