Police investigate armed robbery at Central Coast

Investigators are appealing for information following the armed robbery of a Central Coast golf club yesterday.

Police have been told, two men wearing balaclavas entered the club on Shelly Beach Road, Shelly Beach, through the front doors, about 9pm (Monday 30 September 2019).

One man, armed with a firearm, threatened a security guard, patrons and staff.

The armed man forced entry into a locked room and demanded cash from an employee, before both men fled the scene on foot towards Shelly Beach carpark.

Officers from Tuggerah Lake Police District attended and established a crime scene.

As inquiries continue, investigators would like to speak to two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.

One man is described as being of thin build, wearing beige pants and a dark shirt.

A second man is described as wearing a black hooded jumper, dark pants, and shoes.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
