Police investigate armed robbery at Deeragun

Detectives have released CCTV vision after two men threatened staff with a firearm at a convenience store at Deeragun last night.

At 9.38pm two men entered the Deeragun Road business and threatened two staff members with a firearm demanding cash. One of the men jumped over the counter and removed cash from the register whilst the other man jumped on top of the counter and continued to threaten staff with the firearm.

Both men then fled the store with a sum of cash.

The first man is described as having a dark complexion, slim build with cream coloured clothing covering his face. He was wearing grey shorts with blue and black 'Bonds' brand underwear visible at the top of his pants. He had grey shoes with a white sole and trim.

The second man is described as having a dark complexion, slim build and wearing a cream sleeveless hoodie pulled up over his head. He was wearing black shorts and no shoes.

Police are appealing for anyone with further information to come forward.
