Police investigate armed robbery at Gulliver

Police are investigating an armed robbery at Gulliver last night.

Around 6.10pm, a man and woman entered a convenience store on Mooney St armed with a large knife.

The man threatened the female attendant with the knife.

The pair, believed to be in their mid to late 20s, stole a quality of cash before fleeing in a silver hatchback.

The female shop attendant was not physically injured.

Townsville Criminal Investigations Branch is investigating.

Anyone who was in the vicinity and may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam is urged to contact police.
