Police investigate armed robbery at Rockhampton City

Police are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam to come forward, to assist in their investigation into an armed robbery in Rockhampton City yesterday, November 15.

Initial investigations indicate a woman was sitting in a car on George Lane around 5.15pm, when an unknown man approached the vehicle and threatened her with a knife.

The woman ran from the car and the man fled in her black Mazda 3.

No one was injured during the incident.

Around 4.35am on November 16, the car was located abandoned at the intersection of Flounder Crescent and John Dory Drive, Gladstone.

Anyone who has any information about the incident, or who has relevant dashcam or CCTV that could assist investigations, is urged to contact police.
