Police are investigating the armed robbery of a chemist in Southport last night.
Around 9.50pm a man armed with a firearm entered the Nerang Street premise and made demands for money and prescription medication from the store attendant.
The man obtained an amount of cash and was last seen running in an easterly direction along Nerang Street.
No one was physically injured in the incident.
