Police investigate armed robbery at Tinana

Maryborough detectives are appealing for public assistance regarding the armed robbery of a service station on Friday, November 12.

At 9.43pm, a man entered the business on Gympie Rd, Tinana, armed with knives.

The male person jumped over the counter and threatened a male employee, The male person stole cash and cigarettes before leaving in a silver coloured Holden Commodore, bearing Qld Registration Plates 711DFT. There were no physical injuries during incident.

The same vehicle was later sighted along the Bruce Highway, however the vehicle evaded police.

Anyone with information to assist is asked to contact police.
