Police investigate armed robbery at Waterford West

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza store at Waterford West last night (Thursday, September 5).

Around 10.20pm two men have entered the Kingston Road store, both armed with knives and made demands for money from the 19-year-old male employee.

An undisclosed amount of money was handed over from the till and the men fled the scene.

Both men are described as 180-185 cm tall with slim builds. One of the men was wearing a camouflage bandana covering his face, black jacket and gloves while the other man was wearing all black clothing and a face covering.

No one was physically injured during the incident and investigations are ongoing.
