Police investigate armed robbery at Windsor

Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Windsor overnight.

Around 9:30pm a man entered the business on Newmarket Road, armed with an iron bar.

The man demanded money from a female staff member before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash and was last seen running west, along Newmarket Road.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his early 30s and approximately 175cm tall.
