Police investigate assault and threats in Carnegie

Police are investigating an assault and threats toward a man in Carnegie in May.

Investigators have been told a man was working in the carpark area at Carnegie Railway Station about 12.20pm on 20 May when two males on skateboards approached.

The youths began kicking signs, ignoring requests to leave the area and being abusive toward the workmen.

One of the offenders approached the victim on his skateboard, knocking him to the ground while the other produced a knife and began making threats.

The offenders then left on their skateboards west on the path under the railway overpass.

Police conducted a search of the area, however, were unable to locate the offenders.

The offenders are described as approximately 170cm tall, approximately 16-years-old and were wearing jeans, dark jumpers/hoodies and black baseball caps.

Investigators have released an image of a males that may be able to assist with their enquiries.
