Police investigate Cardinia Road Railway Station damage

Police from Transit Safety Division's Divisional Response Unit are appealing for public assistance to identify a man believed to be involved in damaging property at Cardinia Road Railway Station in Pakenham.

It is believed the man attended the station and was captured on CCTV attempting to gain entry to vending machines about 1.40am on Saturday 20 July.

He then kicked the vending machine and smashed a Myki machine screen making it in-operable.

Investigators have released images of a man they wish to speak to.

He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged between 25 and 30 years with short brown hair.

The man was wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt and brown jacket.
