Police investigate Clayton burglaries

Police are investigating a series of commercial burglaries committed on the same night in Clayton late last month.

Monash Crime Investigation Unit detectives believe the same man broke into four separate premises on Clayton Road on 31 July, stealing cash and ipads.

The premises, including two restaurants, a café and a real estate, were broken-into between midnight and 2am.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be of Southern European appearance, thin with short dark hair and wearing jeans, a jacket and t-shirt with a face motif on the front.

He possibly has a tattoo on the outside webbing of his right hand.
