Police investigate crash in Mooroolbark

Yarra Ranges Highway Patrol are investigating after a car crashed into a house in Mooroolbark this evening.

It is alleged that a grey Holden commodore sedan was travelling south on Blackburn Road when the vehicle collided with a residence after turning right on to on May Road about 6.30pm.

Luckily, no one was injured when the vehicle struck the occupied home.

The vehicle caused significant damage to the front of the residence.

The driver, a 32-year-old Frankston woman, was breath tested at the scene and returned a positive reading of .066.

She is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
