Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a robbery which occurred in Dandenong last month.
Investigators have been told a 13-year-old girl was walking through a shopping strip on McCrae Street, Dandenong about 6pm on Tuesday 19 November.
A woman approached the teen and attempted to pull her mobile phone from her hand.
A struggle ensued and the woman managed to grab the phone and started to walk away.
The victim followed the offender and was verbally threatened by her before the offender ran off.
Police have released images of a woman that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
