A man has been arrested following a fatal stabbing in Bayswater North this morning.
Police responded to reports of an injured male at an address on Mason Court around 7.10am.
The yet to be formally identified male was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A man was arrested nearby and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Police have established a crime scene while they investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
Exacts circumstances are still yet to be established however there is no evidence of any ongoing threat to the community
