Cardinia Highway Patrol officers are appealing for dashcam footage as they investigate a hit-run collision in Devon Meadows yesterday.
It is understood a grey/silver BMW SUV and a cyclist were both travelling north on Fisheries Road when they collided about 2.15pm.
The rider, a 79-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the BMW did not stop at the scene and remains outstanding at this stage.
Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of the collision.
