Police investigate Eaglemont crash

Police from Greensborough are appealing for assistance from the public as they continue to investigate a serious crash which occurred in Eaglemont on Christmas Eve.

Officers were called to Lower Heidelberg Road about 10.50pm on December 24 after reports that a black Yamaha motorcycle collided head on with a red Mitsubishi Pajero.

The rider, a 38-year-old woman from Reservoir, suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was not injured.

Investigators wish to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or with dash cam footage of the motorcycle or the Pajero prior to the crash.
