Arson and Explosives Squad detectives are investigating after a body was located following a house fire in Greensborough yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports of a house on fire on Jessop Street on Monday 16 March about 1.30pm.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze which completely destroyed the property.
Investigators located the body of a deceased person inside the premises and a crime scene has been established.
The exact circumstances surrounding the blaze are yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
