Police Investigate Fatal Yarranbandai Crash

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the state's west today.

About 1.15pm (Monday 30 June 2025) emergency services were called to Henry Parkes Way, Yarranbandai, about 58kms west of Parkes, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Central West Police District attended and found a truck had left the roadway and crashed into bushes.

The driver – a man believed to be aged in his 70s – was located deceased at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
