Police are currently at the scene of a firearms incident in Mulgrave, Victoria Police say.
It is believed two men, both armed with a firearm, entered a licensed premises on Police Road shortly before 6.30pm.
The men demanded and obtained an unknown amount of cash before being chased out by patrons into a nearby car park, where a shot is believed to have been fired into the roof.
One person was assaulted during the incident and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The two men fled in an unknown direction.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still being determined and no arrests have been made at this time.
