A 33-year-old male is currently assisting Homicide Squad Detectives with their enquiries after the body of a female was located at an address in Gardenvale just after 7.30pm last night.
It is believed the two parties are known to each other.
The exact circumstances of the incident and cause of death are yet to be established at this stage.
The investigation remains ongoing.
