Police investigate Gladstone Park aggravated burglary

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following an aggravated burglary in Gladstone Park last week.

Investigators believe two offenders gained entry to the Woodstock Drive home and stole mobile phones and a purse between 9pm on 12 February and 3.30am the following morning.

Two residents both aged in their 70s, were asleep at the time of the burglary and were unharmed.

Bank cards contained within the purse were later used to make purchases at several businesses.

Detectives have released CCTV images of two men who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

Both men are perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and aged in their 30s.

The first man had a heavy build, a handlebar moustache, and was wearing a black cap with white motif and a high-vis vest.

The second man had a thin build and was wearing dark clothing and a blue and white "Furphy's" beanie.
