Police investigate home invasion - Kellyville

Police are investigating a home invasion at Kellyville in which a man was stabbed.

About 1am (Sunday 17 November 2019), police were called to the home on Craigmore Drive, after four unknown men with their faces concealed forced their way into the premises.

Police have been told they were armed with knives and a firearm.

A 34-year-old male occupant of the home was stabbed in the arm, and struck to the forehead.

A woman and child who were also in the home were uninjured.

The men fled the scene in a silver sedan.

Officers from The Hills Police District arrived and established a crime scene, which is being forensically examined.

The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Whilst inquiries into the incident continue, initial investigations suggest the incident was targeted.
