Police investigate house fire at Parkes

Police are appealing for information after a vacant house was destroyed by fire in the state's Central West overnight.

About 7.10pm yesterday (Thursday 25 July 2019), emergency services responded to reports of a house fire on Thomas Street at Parkes.

Fire & Rescue NSW and Rural Fire Service extinguished the blaze; however, the home was completely destroyed.

Officers attached to Central West Police District attended and established a crime scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
