Police investigate indecent assault at Ridgehaven, SA

Police are investigating an indecent assault which occurred yesterday at Ridgehaven, according to SA Police.

Just before 11pm on Thursday 1 February, a high school aged girl was walking from the Modbury bus interchange at the junction of Carter Street and North East Road, when she noticed a silver vehicle parked on the western corner of the junction and a man standing next to it.

The victim kept walking and as she made her way through a nearby church car park on North East Road, the same man approached her and indecently assaulted her. The victim ran off and was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as being Caucasian, 40 years, 170cm tall, solid build, lightly tanned skin, short nearly black hair, bushy eyebrows, a full goatee longer in the chin area and an oval shaped face. He was wearing a round neck fitted black shirt with white print on the front and dark long pants.

The car is described as a silver sedan or possibly a hatchback.
