Police Investigate Jewellery Theft From Airport West

Police are appealing for public assistance after a man stole two wedding rings from a jewellery store in Airport West last week.

The man entered the store inside a shopping centre on Louis Street just before 12pm.

It is believed the man spoke to staff and was assisted in trying on wedding rings.

Police have been told the man put the rings on and suddenly ran from the store.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 35-40-years-old, 180cm tall and bald.

He was wearing a 'Umbro' branded cream jumper, a black baseball cap, blue denim jeans and black shoes.

Police have released CCTV vision and image of a man they believe may assist them with their enquiries.
