Police investigate Meadow Heights stabbing

Officers from the Wayward Taskforce are appealing for information following a stabbing in Meadow Heights earlier this month.

Investigators have been told an 18-year-old man was sitting in the outdoor area of a fast food restaurant in Paringa Drive about 8pm on 14 July.

A number of youths approached the victim and a fight occurred.

During the fight the 18-year-old was stabbed in the stomach three times.

The offenders ran off and got into a silver coloured Nissan Navara which was last seen mounting the median strip and heading north on Hudson Circuit.

Police have released images of a vehicle seen in the area at the time and believe it's occupants may be able to assist with their enquires.

The victim was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
