Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal shooting in Narre Warren, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to an address at Kurrajong Road about 7.40pm this evening after reports of gun fire.
Crews attended and located a man with a suspected gunshot wound.
Ambulance crews worked on the man but could not save his life.
Detectives are currently on scene and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
