Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Newborough last night where five men were injured during a brawl, Victoria Police say.
It is believed an altercation broke out between a number of males at an address on Murray Road.
Officers were called to the premises about 10pm and located a man with critical but non-life threatening stab wounds.
Two others sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
Police were later alerted to a fourth man with injuries at a home on nearby Newark Avenue. He was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
A fifth man presented himself to hospital with lacerations to his hand.
Police are investigating if parties are known to each other.
The investigation is ongoing.
