Police investigate Oakleigh theft and deception

Officers from Monash Vehicle Crime Team are appealing for public assistance following a theft and subsequent deception in Oakleigh last month.

Investigators have been told a car was broken into on Warrigal Road, Oakleigh between 3.00pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday 7 August and a wallet and bank card stolen.

The stolen card was then used at a convenience store on Warrigal Road, at about 4:30pm on Wednesday 7 August.

Detectives have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
