Police investigate Preston cafe burglary

Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify a man following a burglary at a café in Preston this week.

It is believed an unknown man smashed a window and gained access to the café on High Street about 5.50pm on Wednesday 4 December.

Once inside, the offender stole a small amount of cash from the cash register and fled the scene.

Investigators have released an image and CCTV of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.
