Police investigate Reservoir shooting

Armed Crime Squad detectives are investigating a shooting which occurred in Reservoir this morning (8 June).

Investigators have been told a black coloured Porsche SUV pulled up in Bray Street at about 1.30am.

A 20-year-old man who lives in the street walked out of his house and approached the stationary vehicle.

A passenger got out of the car and shot the man.

The injured man has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It is believed the parties are known to each other.

Detectives are investigating whether this incident is linked to a Porsche SUV which was located burnt out in Mitchell Street, Brunswick East about 1.55 this morning.
