Police investigate Ringwood collision

Maroondah Highway Patrol are investigating a two car collision which occurred in Ringwood last night (7 June).

Investigators have been told a grey Toyota sedan was travelling west on Maroondah Highway when it collided with a red Mazda wagon which was turning near the intersection of Olive Grove just before 11pm.

The male driver of the Mazda, a 31-year-old Yallambie man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Toyota, a 27-year-old Mooroolbark man along with his 27-year-old male passenger, were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The exact cause surround the collision is yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
