Police investigate Ringwood indecent act

Detectives from the Knox Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team are appealing for public assistance to identify a man in relation to an indecent act that took place on a walking trail in Ringwood last month.

Investigators have been told a man was walking his dog when the offender approached him about 6pm on Tuesday 21 September.

The victim noticed a man lower his pants and conduct an indecent act.

The victim ran from the scene towards Jeffrey Drive.

Investigators have released an image of a man who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late teens to early 20s with a slim build.

The man was wearing a blue jumper and cream shorts.

The man also had a small charcoal and white dog, believed to be similar to a Husky, with him at the time of the alleged offending.
