Police investigate robbery at Kirwan

Police are investigating a robbery in Kirwan this evening.

Around 6.50pm, a male walked into a bottle shop on Burnda Street, produced a weapon and threatened the shop attendant.

The male removed money from the cash register and fled on foot. He may have got into a car waiting nearby.

Anyone in The Avenues area with CCTV or dashcam footage to is urged contact police.
