Police investigate robbery at Redcliffe

Investigators are seeking public assistance following a robbery at Redcliffe yesterday, October 31.

Just after 5:30pm, an 11-year-old boy was approached by a young male at a recreation facility on Oxley Avenue.

The young male demanded the boy's watch and forcibly removed it from the boy's wrist. He also threatened the boy during the altercation.

The young male then left the scene on foot towards Anzac Avenue.

The young male is described as approximately 170cm tall, of a large build and was wearing a bandanna across his face at the time of the incident.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or can identify the person involved, to come forward.
