Police investigate robbery at Somerton Park, SA

Police are at the scene of an aggravated robbery at Somerton Park, where four men stole cash and cigarettes from a supermarket, according to SA Police.

At about 9.10pm, police were called to the supermarket on Oaklands Road after reports that four men wearing balaclavas and armed with knives had threatened staff and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The men fled in a car, west toward Brighton Road, with an amount of cash and several cartons of cigarettes, thankfully no one was injured.

The suspects are described as being of Aboriginal appearance, two about 180cm tall and the two others about 160cm. They were all wearing dark clothing and balaclavas and one was in a grey top.

The car is described as a green Holden Commodore sedan.
