Police investigate robbery of fast food restaurant - Moorebank

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a restaurant in Moorebank overnight.

About 11.45pm (Tuesday 5 November 2019), two men armed with machetes entered the Newbridge Road store and approached the counter.

The men demanded money while threatening staff.

An amount of cash was handed over and the pair ran from the store.

No customers were inside the store at the time, and no one was hurt.

Officers from Liverpool Police Area Command were called, and an investigation commenced.

A crime scene was established, and inquiries are continuing by Liverpool detectives.
