Police investigate Rutledge Lane robbery

Melbourne Embona Taskforce detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Melbourne last month.

Investigators have been told an unknown offender approached a group of three 15-year-old teens on Rutledge Lane and made demands for their property on Monday 4 November about 1.40pm.

The offender produced a knife and the victims complied handing over their property.

The man then took off with a blue bag believed to contain spray cans and met with another male and female shortly after.

It is believed the offender showed them the stolen items before the group took off on foot.

The man was perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, about 25-years-old, approximately 180cm tall with blonde hair.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Investigators are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
