Police investigate serious assault atElizabeth North

Police are investigating a serious assault in a hotel car park at Elizabeth North overnight.

Police and paramedics were called to the car park of a licensed premises on Woodford Road, Elizabeth North just before 4am on Monday 30 October by reports of an assault.

A man had been assaulted by two unknown men in the car park and then went back into the hotel for assistance.

A man was found with a significant injury to his arm.

The 39-year-old man was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and is now in a stable condition.

Crime scene investigators attended the scene and investigations are continuing.
