Police are investigating an incident in Oak Park in August last year.
Investigators have been told a woman was walking along Moonee Ponds Creek trail on 26 August just before 12.30pm.
An unknown male on a bike rode past her before turning around and following her onto Margaret Street.
The male touched her inappropriately and tried to engage her in conversation, but the 38-year-old woman told him not to touch her and he rode away on his bike.
The male is perceived to be Caucasian, aged ion his 20s, medium build, short dark hair with acne scarring on his face.
He was wearing a black t-shirt, white shorts, black socks, white runners and was riding a red mountain bike.
Investigators have released CCTV and images of a man they believe could assist with their enquiries.
